"You may now kiss the bride" And then she cried, After she excitedly gave her vow For a forever, and also for now. She was the happiest woman alive When her love did arrive, Now her and him are joined together For their glorious forever. Her in her gown of white She glowed with beauty and delight, And everyone there that knew her Was happy and joyous for her. About her there was a beautiful aura And a lingering scent of flora, Then she tossed out her wedding bouquet With a joy and a love to all to display. Over her shoulder into the crowd The screams and excitement was loud, While the bouquet was up in the air Catching it, was every woman's prayer. Every woman wants to be married And over a threshold they want to be carried, And to have a love forever more Whenever they open the door. The groom then tossed her garter out To every bachelors scream and shout, As they too are looking for a mate And together they could set their date. Then the rice at the happy couple was thrown And only I did moan, Because, I wish it was I at her side When the preacher said, "you may now kiss the bride". Randy L. McClave
