When I am around you Old feelings come alive I wish I could reach out To pull you close to me But years ago we both vowed That we would remain just friends But I can't help myself Whenever you are near I feel a wanting in my heart To hold you in my arms But I know that would be wrong I know it would let us both down I wish I didn't still care for you I wish I could let go But every time I see your face I get back those feeling from long ago They say loving is never easy But letting go is more difficult Especially when I keep feeling fellings That I know shouldn't be felt I know loving someone is never wrong But it was love that we lost I sometimes wonder every now and then If love could ever find it's way to us again 10-14-20/RjH
