Lately things haven't been too good
I have not been myself
I'm fairly sure that the reason why
Has to do with someone else
There's someone else that I love
With all my heart and soul
It is through life with her
That I want to stroll
While I live with someone else
My heart is far away
It is this other woman
That I dream of every day
I've never loved anyone
The way that I love her
Like a kitten in your hand
That's how she makes me purr
My only hope is that one day
Her and I will get to see
Just how great love can be
When forever she'll be with me
