Would You Change Your Past?

If we could all go back in time And change the things we've done Would you change anything? Or, would you change none I don't think I'd change a thing I would just let it be Because my past is all a part Of the person who became me The life that I have lived Makes me who I am today Not for any reason Would I change that in any way My past may not be perfect Maybe it wasn't even good But I have so many great memories Though, at times misunderstood Sure I had disappointments A few heartaches along the way But I would still have to believe The sunny days outshined the grey It's nice to remember what use to be Every now and then we all day dream But deep inside I do believe Some days weren't as bad as they seemed So, I wouldn't change my past Even if I could Because in my heart I believe The bad was out weighted by the good So as I scan back over the past To see where I am today There is no doubt in my mind I wouldn't have lived any other way 10-21-18/RjH
