Adventure Leading Nowhere

Life cannot seem to resist the love of another, men and women feel they need someone to complete them in life. Giving up freedom and their independence just to be bound by another's needs and wants, forgetting their own. Instead of treasuring their essence and passion interiorly they forsake themselves and end up making mistakes. Living with someone they end up despising or hating later on in life and being abused besides. Losing self-confidence, their purpose and interior life, walking alone without what they'd been looking for. Mistaking what they got from another as love and ending up paying a high price for it. Feeling empty, having a void in their life, heart breaking and tears falling. Alone and wondering what has happened, life once again feel- ing incomplete and lonely. Therefore, making the same mistake with somebody new and the cycle repeats itself again. Remembering what Albert Einstein once said, about doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. An adventure in futility that ends up going nowhere, leaving a person alone and empty, wondering why.
