Fragile is the Mind,
Avoid crossing the line.
Trying to keep things afloat,
Trying not to bail out
From Life's boat
Not Easy!
Sanity is a fragile line
That once crossed over
Does not give a second chance,
But being strong,
Avoiding a head-on collision
Is not always easy,
Nor within every human's vision
When you're hurting to the core.
Weak is the flesh,
But the mind is more,
Above all,
When purple flowers
No longer sing
And love's hope
Has closed the door.
