I Have Written Nothing

The long day is nearly over
I have written nothing in it
I wasted my time wasting my time
I did not know what to do with myself
And I still don't-
This writing is the writing that is not writing really
And I am a would-be-writer who for years would have been a writer
And before I know it
There will be no more days
And even lines like these
Will not be written.
