I need to take a cold shower, My tiredness beginning to show. Then I'll be right as rain, Refreshed and raring to go. It's been a long arduous day, Work commitments so demanding. I'm so tired... Oh! Snap out of it Shaun, Man up and show some grit. Only one long day in work, And you throw a girlie fit. Listen close to what I say, Real men work down the mines. And many others pay the price, In deadly NHS frontline's. So get your act together, Enough of the 'oh woe is me'. Fire and brimstone's needed, Not your poem of sad irony.
