What is forgotten & what remains is an event at the Mueum of Immigration, Paris, running from May2019-August 2021
What passes down through the generations?
Tunes from a country's lost refrains?
Immigrants coming from different cultures
What is forgotten & what remains?
Personal memories, slices of history
Need for rewiring hearts and brains
Broken boundaries, sensitive borders
What is forgotten & what remains?
Different continents, different lifestyles
Different languages, causes strains
Different diets, clothes, religions
What is forgotten & what remains?
Global village in every city
Immigration by boats, planes, trains
War and poverty are the drivers
What is forgotten & what remains?
