That Was Too Much

I spent yesterday weeping. I have not cried very often in my life. I did yesterday... Watching our terrified children run from a school building that had been splattered with blood and fear and bodies- - that was too much. Watching a video from one of those children's phone and hearing that angry rifle shoot over and over and over again- - that was too much. Hearing a daughter tell her Mother to call the police and tell them to come help the girl somewhere outside her room who was screaming in pain for help and praying to God for help- - that was too much. .
