Next morning, Ram ordered
his beloved brother Lakshman,
in broken words, his eyes flowing
to discard Sita in the forest.
Ram asked him to take her
to the Ashram of Sage Valmiki
In the forests bordering Ayodhya
and leave her with the great sage.
The royal couple was close to the sage
and for him, Sita was his daughter.
Ram chose the Ashram as he loved her dear,
but held peoples' will dearer.
