I Want To Dance Again

Oh, I am old and weary now With bones all racked with pain But take my hand and pull me close - I want to dance again. We'll raise a glass to celebrate A bottle of champagne So pop the cork and open it - I want to dance again. Across the ballroom we shall glide I'll try not to complain For though my feet no longer work - I want to dance again. And as we swirl around, around, The tempo to maintain I'll feel you lifting me up high As then we dance again.
