Soon there will be roses
Adorning gardens fair
Soon there will be roses
Their perfume everywhere
Roses white and yellow
Soft pink and crimson too
Roses in the sunlight
Bedecked with morning dew
When I touch the roses
Caress them tenderly
If I feel them quiver
I’ll know you still love me
Roses hold a secret
A secret in my heart
Roses are a symbol
Of love to thus impart
Soon there will be roses
I wait for them to bloom -
Roses sweet and fragrant
Shall sanctify my room
