When The Moon Smiled At Me

In a night sky plays the Moon Hide and seek game behind the clouds Sometimes he shows a part of his golden face But there are times When he vanishes from the sky leaving all in the dark Does he remember me? I was looking at him from a distance Was I shy or the moon was? As always there was a distance But we were looking at each other in a night sky when others were asleep I am in my place turning sides He behind the cloud in a secret passage We kept the secret to each other I ask for silver beams though he is at a distance From behind the cloud screen he smiles and throws at me a mysterious glance.
