You Are Not Poor

You are not poor if you have enough to eat and drink every day And a nice home to live in and a comfortable bed on which to lay There are millions of people far worse off than you And this only happens for to be true Many people homeless in Winter weather temperatures below minus degrees And in the refugee camps of the World millions of refugees And of malnutrition poor people are dying every day Poverty can be relative as the wise one does say So many in the World of a fair go denied The gap between the wealthy and the poor has never been so wide Worldwide in every city and every town There are millions of people who are financially down And in comparison to many in life you are doing okay You do not know how it feels to be hungry even for a day.
