To be liked or disliked matters
in today's news-media-saturated society.
To be popular and have friends
is a natural desire, but does it always happen?
I have known bitter unpopularity.
Of course, politicians seek the popular vote,
as well as the Electoral College majority
all through the the long American campaign
and Donald Trump earned his place
his place in the sun of November.
Despite the obvious bias of the media,
only the American people at the ballot box
would decide between a political outsider
and a professional insider.
