One can recall you as a cynosure
Of the great people of Zimbabwe
And a strong leader of the NAM
It seems to have changed today
They charge you of skull-duggery
And a practitioner of witchcraft
Now at 91, you have had enough
Shun the lure of power, take rest
Let Zanu-PF choose young blood
You must set an example before
The younger generation and be a
Patron instead of a punching bag
(NAM = Non-Aligned Movement during cold war days)
