Dawn slowly slips into dusk Sun into the deep waters plummet Day light will pave way to dark And this in endless succession shall repeat Grass in green meadows shall wither Trees once clad in green livery will be bare Youth into infirmity will slither The body through long use will wear and tear None can escape the scathe of time Those who live only for dime shall be put to shame We are only players in life's pantomime Until cut down by the scythe of time The changes time brings we have to discern Even the beauteous forms will lose their charm All into Death's vault should return Therefore love your life doing no harm
